Holocaust Remembrance Day was commemorated in our synagogue this Sunday. Community members of all ages came and heard first-hand testimony of how the Nazis murdered in cold blood 27,000 Jews of Rostov. 6 candles were lit by survivors and their relatives. Rabbi Danzinger spoke about the importance of not just remembering the past, but dedicating a resolution in their honor and strengthening Jewish life in the city today. May their memory be a blessing.
