The Rostov Day School Commemorates Holocaust
On Friday, our Jewish Day School commemorated the Holocaust Remembrance Day. Aside from the main event which included reading parts of Anne Frank’s diary, and sharing stories of the terrible tragedy which took place in Rostov, they also conducted tours in the school Holocaust museum. We will never forget!

What an Incredible And Inspiring Story
The mohel visited us today to do a Bris on a 58 year old man, Roman. Word spread in our Day School that the mohel was in town and Nikita (12) showed up in Shul and timidly asked to have a bris as well. Nikita was very scared throughout the procedure but was determined to go through with it.
Nikita chose the name Sholom Dovber. He then explained that this past summer in camp the counselors emphasized the importance of having a Bris and what a special mitzvah it is. “I made a

Magen David Adom Trains Our Students
We are very proud of this group of mostly students who chose to spend a full week of their New Years vacation studying first aid and CPR from representatives of Magen David Adom in Israel. This is a tremendous and important achievement for our community. Huge thanks to Magen David Adom for training us and for donating a first aid kit for our community. We look forward to continued training in Israel aboard Magen David Adom ambulances. #youth
